It was founded in the 17th century and has grown from a gunpowder factory into a world-leading specialty chemical company after more than 200 years of operation. A global enterprise rooted in research, DuPont provides solutions that improve the quality of life in areas such as food and nutrition, healthcare, apparel, home furnishings and construction, electronics, and transportation through its chemical products and processes. In order to help investors and shareholders understand whether DuPont's business strategy is appropriate and determine DuPont's ability to generate returns on investment, this study will estimate DuPont's intrinsic value as of December 31, 2022, and determine whether the company is overvalued or undervalued by comparing it with the company's stock price on that day. This study will analyze DuPont from two perspectives. First, it will examine the external and internal factors that may affect the company through company overview, industry analysis, and economic outlook. The analysis methods used include SWOT analysis, PESTEL analysis, Porter's Five Forces analysis, and value chain analysis. Secondly, this study analyzes and forecasts DuPont's financial situation, using data from the company's historical and projected financial statements to calculate key financial indicators to assess DuPont's financial health and profitability. Finally, three valuation models and sensitivity analysis are used to analyze the company's operating performance, capital structure, and intrinsic value.
