THE LIFE DILEMMA AND ADJUSTMENT OF PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER IN MACAO : 澳門自閉症類群障礙幼童的家長生活困境與調適

This qualitative study aimed to explore the life difficulties, coping strategies, experiences, and processes of parents of autistic children in Macau. The study used an overlapping method (interviews and questionnaires) to interview six parents of autistic children and used a psychological analysis table to understand their current life stresses. The study also conducted group activities and questionnaire surveys to analyze and organize the research questions. The results are as follows: 1. The parents in this study believed that group work could effectively alleviate their life stress. 2. The parents in this study believed that professionals such as teachers and social workers could provide appropriate guidance and opinions for the education of autistic children and their parents. 3. The parents in this study believed that organizing and expanding psychological counseling teams by the government or civil society groups and strengthening their publicity could effectively reduce the psychological stress burden on parents.

本研究使用了質性研究法，研究對象是澳門自閉症類群障礙幼童的家長，旨在了解他們在生活中所面臨的困境、調適策略、生活經驗和歷程等情況。研究採用了重疊法，包括訪談和問卷調查，並運用心理分析表來了解他們的生活壓力現況。研究結果顯示： 一、 研究對象認為小組工作能夠舒緩他們的生活壓力。 二、研究對象認為老師和社工等專業人員能夠提供適切的指導和意見，對自閉症兒童和家長的教養有着重要作用。 三、研究對象認為政府和民間社團組織應擴大心理輔導團隊，加強其宣傳，能夠有效地減輕家長承受的心理壓力負擔。
